On my new Ko-fi site, I am celebrating April’s National Poetry Month with a Poem a Day and my poetry anthology Twilight Dips is just 99 cents for the month of April.
Twilight Dips
Twilight dips
elegant fingers
over treetops
into shimmering lakes
deepest blue
ripples spread
fingers twirling
swirling symmetry
calling out to fish
from deepest depths
fish rise
fish mate
fish spawn
fish die
circles
cycles
fishly life.

I think that is my favorite picture of you. You are in your element doing your thing! Fantastic!

The picture was taken at my first book launch at Burke’s Books in Memphis in 2009! Everything I was feeling that evening is in that picture. The dream come true. Very much in my element. Holding my first novel in my hands and being able to share it with the world. A top of the mountain achievement and living the dream.
